The World Rescue Organisation (WRO) is a not for profit organisation and a registered charity, charity number 1100525. Its registered office is located at the Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service, South Street, Newport, PO30 1JQ
In line with our vision the WRO has been created to assist with the dissemination of emergency rescue and medical techniques, practices and procedures to aid the effective management of Road Traffic Collisions and the care of those involved. The application of such knowledge can save lives and dramatically improve long term outcomes.
The WRO will draw on the experience of its member organisations and our partners to develop national bodies, the rescue challenge concept and produce training programmes and initiatives that assist rescue and medical crews whilst working in the post-crash environment.
The World Rescue Organisation is governed and managed by an Executive Committee and the WRO Committee
