‘This year’s World Rescue Challenge in Barcelona was a superbly planned and executed event and a real credit to APRAT and its committee members. It was of course only made possible by the superb efforts of the APRAT members, the Barcelona Fire Service and Barcelona city council. I would like to take this opportunity to specifically thank APRAT’s President, Jordi Asin and his team for working so hard to stage this event. I am hugely impressed by the efforts, motivation and enthusiasm of everyone that works throughout the year and during the week to make this event the success that it is. Indeed to have developed it to the level that it is now at is a fantastic feat by all concerned’.
