World Health Day is celebrated annually on the 7th of April. The theme for World Health Day 2004 was road safety.
WHO Injuries & Violence Prevention Department
The goals of the WRO IV are to raise awareness about the problem of
violence globally, to make the case that violence is preventable, and
to highlight the crucial role that public health has to play in
addressing its causes and consequences.
Global Road Safety Partnership
The GRSP brings together governments and governmental agencies, the private sector and civil society organisations to address road safety issues in low and middle income countries.
