26/12/2007 GRSP News - Sakhalin Rescue & Pre Hospital Care The Global Road Safety Partneship provides an insight in to the partnership work undertaken by Sakhalin Energy Investement Company, Sakhalin Road Safety Partnership, the GRSP and the WRO in Sakhain earlier this year. In its latest news letter the GRSP said 'Prompt and appropriate pre-hospital care combined with effective rescue procedures can significantly improve the survival chances of a road crash victim and reduce the likelihood of secondary injuries. Unfortunately, the capacity to provide even a basic level of combined technical rescue and medical care does not exist in many parts of the world'.
