Save Kids Lives

The WRO congratulates the Save Kids Lives campaign in reaching 1 Million signatures.

The campaign started earlier this year with a modest goal to achieve 100,000 signatures. This was quickly exceeded as the campaign’s reach grew wider and wider. Now, 1 million people have signed the declaration to demand action on road safety for children.

On the 18th – 19th November 2015, the 2nd Global High Level Conference on Road Safety in Brasilia the meeting will see the world’s highest level decision-makers on road safety gather to review global road safety progress.

The WRO will be represented at this very important event by Kevin Lennon, WRO Director of Operations and Dr Edison Teixeira Chair of ABRES, WRO member organisation for Brazil. The Conference will discuss how to reach the ambitious road safety targets within the Global Goals.

At the Brasilia meeting, children will hand over the 1 million signatures to our world leaders. Together, we will call upon them to commit to road safety, so that life saving measures can be put in place on the roads around the world.

Do you still have signatures to send to support #SaveKidsLives? Please send them to info@savekidslives2015.org and we can add them to the counter before Brasilia.
